John Huggins

The transparent watercolours of Timmins artist John Huggins attempt to capture the diversity and natural beauty of our northern landscape, from woodpiles and weathered windows to snow shadows seen from above.

A variety of these original paintings have been successful in a number of juried exhibitions and enjoy their life in many homes and offices across Canada.

John was the former Director of Education for the Timmins Board of Education, the first Chairman of the Timmins and District Hospital and has been involved in a variety of community projects and watercolour painting instruction. In his retirement, he now enjoys finding time for grandparenting, travels, skiing, more painting and some inspirational flying time.
